The Punjab Police on Sunday said preliminary interrogation of an accused arrested in the Sidhu Moose Wala murder case indicated that there was a plan to attack Bollywood actor Salman Khan.
Nepal Police on Saturday arrested the last accused in the case, Deepak Mundi, along with two of his associates Kapil Pandit and Rajinder from near the West Bengal-Nepal border.
Mansa court has sent him to seven days police custody.
Police said that one of the accused, Kapil Pandit, was involved in the recce conducted by Lawrence Bishnoi to attack Salman Khan. Director General of Police Gaurav Yadav said that other accused in the case will also be questioned to get more clues about the relationship with Salman Khan.
