Parsala police on Monday arrested a history-sheeter who had allegedly gone into hiding after stabbing a man in a bar recently.
The accused has been identified as Jayan alias Sanu, a resident of Pannimala in Vellarda. According to the police, he had stabbed Arshad, a resident of Idichakkapalamudu at Prashanthi Bar under Parasala police station area. He was arrested by Parsala Circle Inspector Hemant Kumar and a team led by SI Balu, ASI Sanjeev and others. Jayan is an accused in several other cases. He was produced in the court and taken on remand.
