Actress Pooja Bhatt joins Congress’ Bharat Jodi Yatra in Telangana, walks with Rahul Gandhi

New Delhi: Actor and director Pooja Bhatt joined the India Jodi Yatra of Congress in the form of a walkathon from Shamshabad in Hyderabad on Wednesday morning.

The journey that started in September has completed a month on the road and is currently passing through Telangana.

In the video shared by Congress, Bhatt can be seen walking in front, having an animated conversation with party leader Rahul Gandhi.

Bhatt is the first from the Hindi film industry to show support for the yatra, which is touted as one of the party’s biggest public relations exercises in recent times.

On Tuesday, newly elected Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge also attended the match and gave a public speech in Hyderabad.

The walkathon has passed through Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka before the start of the Telangana leg of its journey.

The India pair journey of 3,570 km started from Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu on 7th September and will end at Srinagar covering 12 states in 150 days.

This March entered its 56th day on Wednesday.
