An adult tiger was found dead in the Nagbhid forest of Brahmapuri division of Maharashtra’s Chandrapur district on Monday morning. An official gave this information.

He said the tiger, about 13 years old and officially named T-11, may have died in a territorial fight with another big cat.

Chief Conservator of Forests NR Praveen said, “The body was found near Huma Beat by the patrolling staff to locate the electrocution equipment. The tiger has injury marks on its neck and paws. The marks of fighting between the tigers are visible at the spot. are.”

He said that the postmortem has been done as per the guidelines of the National Tiger Conservation Authority.
