Months after the Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP has lost 32 kg. Nitin Gadkari He said that he would give Rs 1000 crore for development works for every kilo lost.
Anil Firojia, who was challenged by Gadkari at an event in Ujjain in February 2022, said, “I have accepted the challenge and I have lost about 32 kg.”
In June, the BJP MP had lost 15 kg. “Prime Minister Narendra Modi Started the ‘Fit India’ movement. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari told me on stage that I would earn Rs 1,000 crore for development works in Ujjain. I took it as a challenge and have lost 15 kgs till now. I will reduce it further and request them to release the money as promised.
Staying true to his point, Firozia shed more weight, saying that if the weight loss brings more budget allocation for Ujjain, “I am ready to continue my fitness regime for the development of the constituency. “
The BJP MP told news agency ANI that he also met Gadkari and told him about his weight loss. “I met Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and told him and he was very happy to know about it. As promised, they have approved development plans worth Rs 2,300 crore for the area,” Ferozia said.
The BJP MP said that he follows a strict diet chart to lose weight.
Describing his fitness, Mr. Firojia said, “I wake up at 5.30 am and then go for morning walk. My morning workout includes running, exercise and yoga. I follow ayurvedic diet chart. I have a light breakfast. For lunch and dinner, I eat salad, a bowl of green vegetables and a mixed grain bread. In between, I sometimes have carrot soup or dry fruits as well.
Earlier in February this year, Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari had said in a public program in Ujjain, ‘I had put a condition for allocating funds to Firojiya ji. I once weighed 135 kg [which was] More than Firojia. But now my weight is 93 kg. I showed him my old picture. It’s hard to recognize me in that photo. I will allocate ₹1,000 crore for every kilo lost by them. ,
