Except for the ink used to write them, what was black in agricultural laws, former army chief General VK Singh asked the farmers, insisting on a section of them being forced to withdraw the reform law.

The former army chief said, “I asked a farmer leader to tell me what is black (in agriculture laws). You people say it is a black law. I asked him what is black except ink. ” His conversation with a farmer leader.

“They said we support your view but these (laws) are still black,” Singh said. There is no cure,” he said, expressing his displeasure.

“In farmer organizations, there is a fight for supremacy among themselves. These people cannot think of the benefits to the small farmers.

Union Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways and Civil Aviation Singh said that the BJP will register a landslide victory in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections.

“You yourself will see how the BJP will win the upcoming UP assembly elections,” he said.

He also said that it was the BJP government that implemented the recommendations of the Swaminathan Committee report.

On Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that the government has decided to repeal three agriculture laws. Addressing the nation on the occasion of Prakash Parv of Shri Guru Nanak Dev, PM Modi apologized and said that the government cannot explain to a section of farmers on agricultural laws.

“Perhaps there was some deficiency in our tapasya (efforts), so we could not explain the laws to some farmers. However, today is Prakash Parv and this is not the time to blame anyone. Whatever I did was for the farmers. What I have done, I am doing for the country: PM Modi

The Prime Minister said that the process of withdrawing the three laws would be initiated during the upcoming winter session of Parliament.
