Apollo 11 hero Buzz Aldrin marries at age 93

“I am pleased to announce that my longtime love and partner, Dr. Anka V. Faure, and I have tied the knot. We were joined in holy matrimony in a small, private ceremony in Los Angeles. , and just as excited as a runaway teen,” Aldrin wrote on Facebook.

The Facebook post included a few images of the newlyweds and has earned 65,000 “likes” and “loves” at the time of writing.

Dr. Faure, 63, executive vice president of Mr. Aldrin’s business, Buzz Aldrin Ventures, has a PhD in chemical engineering.
