The Indian Army has extended an olive branch and offered help to the family and terrorist if they decide to return to the path of non-violence. Lt Gen DP Pandey met the families of several terrorists from South Kashmir and told the family that if their children leave the path of terrorism and return to the mainstream, all possible help will be provided to them. He also assured that both the army and the militants who were injured in the firing would be shifted to safer places. In such cases, priority will be given to the army and security forces.
