Asia-Pacific Institute of Management offers scholarship worth Rs 3.5 crore through CAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT scores

The Asia-Pacific Institute of Management is offering a scholarship of Rs 3.5 crore to the applicants enrolled in its programmes. The scholarship program of the institute provides support to PGDM (General), PGDM (Health Management), PGDM (Big Data Analytics), PGDM (Banking and Financial Services) and PGDM (Marketing) candidates.

As per the eligibility criteria, candidates must have merit-cum-performance based scholarship program available to applicants with high percentage scores in CAT, XAT, CMAT and MAT common entrance examinations.

Marks in Qualifying Examination:

CAT > 75 percentile
XAT > 85 percentile
CMAT > 90 percentile
MAT > 95 percentile
Graduation > 60%

The final decision for the grant of Late B B Verma Scholarship will be taken by the Scholarship Award Committee on the basis of cumulative evaluation of their Common Entrance Test scores, performance in Group Discussion and Personal Interview and overall assessment by the Committee. Thereafter, the fee waiver (if any) will be decided.

“Candidates appearing in final year graduation examination (1st attempt) in Summer 2022 can also apply. Such candidates will have to produce the final year result of graduation with a minimum of 60 percent marks in aggregate on or before 31 October 2022,” reads the official notice by the Asia-Pacific Institute of Management.

The award of scholarship will be in two phases – 50% in the first year and 50% in the second year. In the first year, scholarships will be awarded to a limited number of scholars on a first come, first served basis, subject to the availability of seats against admission. The total number of scholarships for deserving meritorious students is 30, worth up to Rs.100000. In order to receive the scholarship in the second year, it is mandatory for the students to maintain a minimum GPA of 8.5 and above (out of 10.0) in each quarter in the first year academic result. The institute said that the student will have to maintain 85 percent attendance in each subject in each quarter of the first and second year.
