An electric kettle lets you boil water at times, make tea, coffee and even instant noodles. Some people even boil eggs in an electric kettle. But, have you ever thought of making casserole in a kettle? astonished? We’ve got a recipe that’ll help you make a perfect casserole in the appliance.

Cooking Tips: How to Make Casserole in an Electric Kettle:

  • Put some oil and cumin in a kettle.
  • Turn on the kettle until it turns off on its own.
  • Now add soaked rice in it and add double the water.
  • Add soya nuggets, peas and ginger-garlic paste to it.
  • Add red chili powder, mix the spices, garam masala and salt as per taste.
  • Mix everything well and close the lid.
  • Switch on the kettle and let it cook for a maximum of six minutes.
  • Switch off, mix and then switch on again. Continue this process till the rice is cooked.
  • When you see that all the water has been absorbed, turn off the kettle and leave it for seven minutes.
  • And you have a delicious plate of casserole which is ready to eat.
