Meanwhile, as the model code of conduct has come into force, the Covid vaccination certificates issued in the five poll-bound states will not have the picture of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. A source told PTI that the Union Health Ministry has installed necessary filters on the Co-Win platform to exclude Modi’s picture from the vaccine certificate. The filters were put in place soon after the poll schedule was announced on Saturday night. The Election Commission of India has also banned all political rallies, street meetings, road shows till January 15 in the election states. Congress has once again postponed its rally, which was to address AICC leader Rahul Gandhi in Moga on January 15.
