Karnataka man set fire to bank after loan application was rejected

In Karnataka’s Haveri district, a man allegedly set a bank on fire after a loan application was rejected. According to the police, the accused wanted a loan and knocked on the door of the bank. However, the bank rejected his loan application after verification of documents.

The accused, who came on a bike in the early hours of Sunday, poured petrol by breaking the window panes of the house. Bank before setting fire. Bank documents, furniture, computers were burnt to ashes due to the fire.

After this the villagers saw smoke coming out of the bank and reached the spot. He called the fire brigade and caught the accused and handed him over to the police.
