Ayla Samar Mucha, born in December 2021, was diagnosed with a very-rare condition.

As an extremely rare condition, a baby was born with a congenital anomaly known as bilateral microstomia. Ayla Samar Mucha, born in December 2021, was diagnosed with this ultra-rare condition. This seriously affects the aesthetics and function of the oral cavity. Due to this condition, the child has got a permanent smile on his face and made him a social media star. His mother has shared many pictures of the child on Instagram. Christina Wurcher and Blaise Mucha were given the news by doctors in Australia because they said Ayla had developed the condition in her womb. Speaking to the New York Post, Ms. Wurcher said, “Blaise and I were not aware of the condition nor had I ever met anyone born with macrostomia. So it came as a huge shock. “

Sharing an adorable picture of the baby, she wrote, “My darling Lala. better late then never. Running back 2 days all the time… almost out of her preemie suit.” This has melted hearts all over social media. Take a look at the pic:

“So bloody adorable, can’t believe it’s been 4 weeks already!!” An Instagram user commented. Another user wrote, ‘My love for you two beautiful ladies has grown so much every single day. And grows up very quickly for my little Lala xx.”

There are only 14 cases of this condition in the whole world. However, it was first noticed by doctors at Flinders Medical Center. No abnormalities were found in the ultrasound scan of the mother. Speaking to the New York Post, she said, “As a mother all I could think about was where I went wrong, especially when I’ve been so pedantic throughout my pregnancy.”

The parents are now talking to doctors about a surgery to fix her wide smile. They are also trying to spread awareness about it on Instagram. “We have not yet received the exact specifics of the surgery, yet we know that it involves closing the skin which results in the least amount of scarring,” Wercher said while speaking to the Post. “The challenges we will face after surgery are worrying as a couple.”
