Bank of Baroda invites applications for 8 posts in ‘Digital Group’

New Delhi:

Bank of Baroda has invited applications from eligible candidates to fill up various posts in its Digital Group.

The Reserve Bank in April 2022 advised banks to set up Digital Banking Units (DBUs). The regulator has prescribed banks to report the digital banking segment as a sub-segment of retail banking as part of their accounting practice.

Under the recruitment program for eight posts, there is one post each for Head of Merchant Acquisition Business and Head of Artificial Intelligence in Bank of Baroda.

Also, Lead-Merchant Acquisition Online, Lead-Merchant Acquisition Offline; Digital Partnership Lead-Corporates; Digital Partnership Lead-Fintech; Lead Robotic Process Automation and Lead-Digital Payment Fraud Prevention.

The Mumbai-based lender is expanding its end-to-end digital journey for pre-approved two-wheeler loans, auto loans, education loans, home loans for pre-approved projects and home loan top-up loans.

For MSME borrowers, it has digitized the renewal process of small ticket MSME loans. Mudra loans up to Rs 10 lakh are processed digitally. In agriculture segment, it provides gold loan to farmers digitally.

The lender is also working on a complete digital journey for Kisan Credit Cards in selected states with progressive digitization of agricultural land records.

This includes integration with Agritech to obtain land records and perform risk analysis of agricultural data.

According to a notice, the posts for which the bank has invited applications are contractual in nature and will be for a period of five years with annual performance review.
