Bhabha Atomic Research Center (BARC) has announced recruitment for the posts of Driver-cum-Pump Operator-cum-Fireman and Sub-Officer. Only those candidates, who have passed their Intermediate examination in Science stream including Chemistry, can apply. As per the BARC notification, there are 20 vacancies for Driver cum Pump Operator cum Fireman & Sub-Officer. There are 16 vacancies for the post of Driver-cum-Pump Operator-cum-Fireman and 4 for Sub-Officer. Eligible candidates will be selected for these posts through written test and physical test.

Eligibility: Candidate should have passed 12th class in Science stream with Chemistry as a subject with at least 50% marks. Candidate should also have minimum 1 year experience of driving heavy vehicle with license. Certificate course in Fire Fighting Equipment is also required.

Entry Pay – Rs 35400 plus allowances
Eligibility: Candidate should have passed 12th class in Science stream with Chemistry as a subject with at least 50% marks. Candidate should have done Sub-Officer’s course from National Fire Service College. Preference will be given to the candidate having Heavy Vehicle Driving License.

Vision – 6/6 without glasses. Candidates having problem of night blindness/ color blindness will be disqualified.
