Birbhum violence incident itself Kushi, Bengal Police registers murder cases against CBI officers

The West Bengal Police has registered a murder case against the CBI officials in connection with the Birbhum violence case itself. Bengal Police has taken this action after the suicide of X Lallan of violence in Bogtui village of Birbhum district. The police have registered a case under section 302 (murder) of the IPC against the CBI documentary, several officials including the SP.

Lalan, one of the main threats to the violence that broke out in Bogtui village in Bengal’s Birbhum district earlier this year, allegedly committed suicide while detaining the Jamaat.

The temporary camp maintained by the servers in the district was kept at Shaikh.

Sheikh was later arrested eight months after the violence. Women and children were burnt in this violence. About 10 people died in this.

The Shaikh family of Lalan claimed torture in the claim that he was murdered. His wife alleged that the CBI officials threatened to kill her husband and demanded Rs 50 lakh to clear his name from the case.

The CBI is probing the case on the orders of the Calcutta High Court. Sheikh is believed to have led a mob that set fire to Bogtui houses, killing 10 people.
