UPGIS 2023: The Uttar Pradesh government is gearing up to make the Global Investors Summit 2023 to be held in February a grand success. To showcase Uttar Pradesh as an ideal investment destination, a delegation of UP government led by Speaker Satish Mahana and Minister Dharampal held a meeting with some top industrialists in Vancouver, Canada on Tuesday (December 13).
During the networking reception session of UPGIS 2023, the delegation met Pankaj Agarwal, Founder and Managing Partner, Optimus Information Inc. along with various companies. The delegation discussed how Uttar Pradesh can partner with companies in sectors such as data centres, healthcare, food processing, IT and ITES. , Defense and Aerospace.
So far 52 industry groups have confirmed their participation in UPGIS 2023 after the initial round of roadshows and campaigns organized by the Yogi government abroad.
These include industry groups associated with sectors such as pharmaceuticals, business chambers, business development, investment banks, capital markets, automotive industry, technology, research and development (R&D), telecommunications and food processing.
A delegation of the Uttar Pradesh government did roadshows in Frankfurt, Germany, Toronto, Canada and Mexico. These roadshows are aimed at realizing Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s ambitious target of attracting Rs 10 lakh crore investment through UPGIS 23 to boost the state’s economy to $1 trillion.
