BJP’s national office bearers meeting on October 18: Report

National Officer of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is scheduled to meet on October 18 ANI on Thursday.

The news agency further said that the BJP’s national executive meeting will be held on November 7.

The meeting assumes significance in view of the assembly elections to be held in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Goa and Manipur early next year.

This comes after party president JP Nadda announced the party’s 80-member national executive earlier in the day.

The list includes the names of its top officials, from Prime Minister Narendra Modi to several Union ministers, several state leaders and stalwarts like LK Advani and Murli Manohar Joshi.

BJP MP Varun Gandhi, who spoke in support of farmers during the ongoing agitation against three agriculture laws, his MP mother Maneka Gandhi and former Union minister Birender Singh, who is sympathetic to the cause of farmers, have been removed. Executive Member.

In addition to the 80 regular members, the executive will also have 50 special invitees and 179 permanent invitees.

The executive is a major deliberative body of the party that meets to discuss the major issues facing the government and shape the agenda of the organisation. The disruption caused by the Covid-19 pandemic has put its meeting on hold for a long time.

The list is expected to include several Union ministers, including Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, including the recently inducted minister Ashwini Vaishnav.

Former Union ministers like Harsh Vardhan, Ravi Shankar Prasad and Prakash Javadekar also remain members of the National Executive.
