The online application process for the recruitment of various Sub Inspector (SI) and Constable posts has been started by the Border Security Force (BSF). Those who are eligible and interested to apply can do so on the official website of BSF – rectt.bsf.gov.in. The last date for registration is 12th July.
BSF is recruiting for a total of 110 vacancies out of which 22 vacancies are reserved for the post of SI and 88 posts are reserved for constable. As per the official notification, the vacancies are divided into Group B and Group C. Group B includes the posts of SI while Group C comprises of constable posts.

BSF SI, Constable Recruitment 2022: Eligibility Criteria
educational qualification: To be eligible for SI posts, a candidate must have a minimum 3 years Diploma in Auto Mobile Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or Auto Electrical Engineering from an institute recognized by the Govt.
For constable posts, a candidate must have passed matriculation or class 10 from a recognized board and also possess an Industrial Training Institute (ITI) certificate in the relevant trade or three years in the relevant trade from a reputed firm. Must have work experience.
Age Range: The minimum age of the candidate applying for the post of constable should not exceed 18 years and upper age limit should not exceed 25 years. Whereas the maximum age for SI post is 30 years.

Step 1: Visit the official website of BSF
Step 2: On the homepage, you will find the link ‘Group-B & C Combatized (Non-Gazetted-Non Ministerial) Posts in Border Security Force, SMT WKSP’.
Step 3: Click on it and the application form will appear on your screen.
Step 4: Share all the required details and pay the application fee.
Step 5: Lastly, submit the form and make a copy of it.

Candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 200 for Group B posts and Rs 100 for Group C.
BSF SI, Constable Recruitment 2022: Selection Process
The shortlisted candidates will first have to appear for a written test consisting of questions on General Awareness and Technical subjects. The minimum qualifying marks in the written examination is 35 percent for General, EWS and OBC category candidates and 33 percent for SC and ST category. Those who pass the written test will have to appear for Physical Standard Test, Physical Efficiency Test, Documentation, Practical/Trade Test and Medical Examination and Re-Medical Examination.
BSF SI, Constable Recruitment 2022: Salary
Those selected for the posts of SI will be paid between Rs 35,400 to Rs 1,12,400. Whereas those selected for the posts of constable will get Rs 21,700 to Rs 69,100 as per 7th CPC.
