Residents said that repair work was going on in the sixth floor flat. There are 530 flats in the society and around 420 families are living there for the last four years. The project was started in 2011 and possession of flats started in 2017.
Residents said that in July last year, a roof collapsed in the H block of the society. No one was injured at that time.
The residents claim to have complained to the Town and Country Planning Department, which has directed a structural audit.
DTCP Director DTCP KM Pandurang said that a detailed inquiry has been ordered and action will be taken as per the report.
