– Simply scan the QR using your mobile and avail the services offered by SBI
– You will be asked to send “Hi” to +919022690226 from your WhatsApp number and follow the instructions given by the chat-bot
– Alternatively you can send an SMS to +91720893314 in the following format “WARE <> ACCOUNT NUMBER” from your registered mobile number with SBI and follow the steps given below:
– If the registration is successful, you will receive a confirmation message on WhatsApp linked to your registered mobile number
– Send “Hi” to +919022690226 from your WhatsApp number and follow the instructions given by the chat-bot
Meanwhile, if you are unable to register for SBI WhatsApp Banking due to some reason, you should do the following:
Check SMS format and destination mobile number
Also you need to ensure that your mobile number from which SMS is sent is updated with your bank account number.
If your mobile number is not registered, then you need to visit your SBI bank branch and update your mobile number.
