CBI raids Manish Sisodia: CBI raids more than 20 places in Delhi including Sisodia’s house in Excise Policy case. Delhi News – Times of India

New Delhi: CBI has started raids at the residence of Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi. Manish Sisodia and three other public servants in connection with the investigation of alleged irregularities in the New Excise Policy case.
CBI sources said that several teams are conducting searches at 21 places in Delhi-NCR. An official said that those who are being raided include Arva Gopikrishna, the then Excise Commissioner of Delhi.

Taking to Twitter, Sisodia said, “CBI has arrived. We are honest, we are building the future of lakhs of children. Unfortunately in this country, the one who does good work is troubled like this, so our country is still The number is not -1.”

Earlier, Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena had approved the suspension of 11 officers over “serious lapses” in the implementation of the Excise Policy 2021-22. The suspended officials include Gopikrishna and Deputy Excise Commissioner Anand Kumar Tiwari.
Krishna, a 2012 batch AGMUT-cadre IAS officer, is currently posted in the union territories of Dadra Nagar Haveli and Daman Diu. He was transferred from the post of Delhi Excise Commissioner on July 12, 2022. Tiwari, a 2003 batch DANICS officer, is currently posted in the Delhi Excise Department.
