CBSE 10th, 12th result date: Students demand clarification on result dates, marks calculation formula

CBSE students across the country are eagerly waiting for their class 10th and 12th board results. Students are worried that most of the boards have declared their results and admission has started in many colleges. CBSE Marks are still awaited. To make matters worse, the board has not yet released any official result date or weightage on the basis of which the results will be released.

This year, for the first time, CBSE has organized the boards in two parts. After the CISCE and other boards have given equal weightage to the results of both term 1 and term 2, CBSE students are demanding results based on the new formula. The students are demanding that the board release the CBSE result at the earliest, that too on the basis of either of the two conditions – which means the students should be given scores based on whichever term they have performed better .

Meanwhile, board exam results are not the only concern in the minds of the students. Due to the fact that the board exams for the academic session 2021-2022 were divided into two terms, students appearing for the CBSE board exams in 2022 are also worried about the weighting criteria. Students have also started an online campaign demanding clarification regarding marking scheme for CBSE 10th and 12th examinations in 2022 as the Central Board of Education has not provided any information about the weightage of CBSE Term 1 and Term 2 results .

Students are launching an online campaign urging CBSE to compile CBSE 10th and 12th board results using the best subject-wise scores of Term-1 and Term-2 examinations. The students argue that since they took most of their classes online, CBSE should fix grades on a “best of any word, subject-wise” basis.
