CBSE postpones last date for uploading class 9, 11 registration data, apply till January 6

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) The last date for uploading of registration data for class 9 and 11 students has been postponed. The extension was given after considering the problems being faced by schools and parents due to the current COVID-19 situation. The process of registration can now be completed without late fee till January 6. The last last date for uploading registration data was 30 December 2021.

Other terms and conditions of registration will remain the same as mentioned in the notification issued on December 8, 2021. The extension, however, will not affect the registration process of schools in the Gulf countries and their schedule will remain as given in the dated circular. 10 December.

Schools affiliated to CBSE will have to register their students of class 9 and 11 online at cbse.nic.in. It is necessary to check the name, parent’s name, date of birth and other information carefully before final submission as no correction will be allowed later. In the board examinations of class 10th and 12th for the academic session 2022-23, only those candidates whose names will appear in the registration data will be registered.

For successful registration, a soft copy of the recent passport size photograph of the students, their birth certificate, previous class mark sheet and their signature need to be shared with the application form.

After completion of registration, candidates will also have to pay a registration fee of Rs 300 within a window of four days. So, if the registration is finalized by January 6, the fee can be paid till January 10 without any late fee. In case the registration is not completed by January 6, candidates will have the option to complete the process by paying an additional Rs 2000 late fee. The window to complete the registration with late fee will be open from January 7 to January 14. No registration fee will be charged by CBSE for visually impaired students.
