If a student fails to obtain the minimum marks in any one subject, he/she has to appear for the compartment exam. To be eligible for these tests, students must have passed ISC/ICSE in English or two additional subjects. This provision allows students to retake the failed subject and pass the exam without repeating the entire academic year.

Students who could not pass the CISCE ISC or ICSE score will be given one more chance to clear the exam. They will be allowed to take the 2024 final year exams along with students from the academic year 2023-2024 under the repeater category, but if they fail in that year also, there will be no more chances.
