Coca-Cola needs no introduction. The brand has been ruling the soda market for years with soft drinks and club sodas. In an attempt to expand its business, Coca-Cola is soon foraying into the world of technology. Reportedly, Coca-Cola is expected to introduce a smartphone in India. Popular tech influencer Mukul Sharma took to Twitter to make the announcement. He claimed that the company may launch its phone in India by “this quarter”, which means, early March 2023. He further mentioned that the brand will be collaborating with a smartphone company for the upcoming launch.

The picture shared by Mukul Sharma shows the rear side of the phone which houses the dual camera system and the volume control buttons, which are located on the right edge of the phone. No more phone specifications available.
The announcement went viral in no time with people re-sharing the news on the internet. This particular tweet has been viewed 89.3k times so far. One user wrote, ‘I want a Diet Coke variant too.’ Another comment read, “Cold drink se phone free free (Now get phone free with cold drink)”. A third person wrote, “The phone should be cold; Thanda means Coca-Cola (the phone should be cold; as cold as Coca-Cola.”
While this news may come as a surprise to all, let us tell you, this is not the first time that a non-smartphone manufacturer has entered the smartphone industry. Earlier, OnePlus and Oppo collaborated to bring McLaren Edition and Avengers Edition of their devices.
