Coffee made without ‘coffee beans’. The Times of India

Just as the concepts of ‘meatless meat’, ‘eggless egg’ and ‘milkless milk’ influenced us and we all accepted them with open arms, the new concept of ‘coffeeless coffee’ is here to stay. Called molecular coffee, it is made from sunflower seed husks and watermelon seeds that undergo a chemical process that has been patented to generate molecules that mimic the taste of a real coffee. The result of this chemical process is that it is brewed just like a regular cup of coffee. Also, if you are wondering about the amount of caffeine in it, you will be surprised as it has enough caffeine to outweigh any other drink.
