In one of the strangest incidents, South Sudanese police said they detained a cow and its owner after the animal killed a 12-year-old boy.
Quoting the police statement, independent Told that the cow was walking near a field in the evening last week, when it attacked the child, causing his immediate death. The animal was pulling a plow in the Lake State when the incident happened.
“The bull has now been arrested at a police station in Rumbeck Central County. The boy was taken to a hospital for a post-mortem and taken home for burial,” said police spokesman, Major Eliza Mabor.
