The Confederation of Real Estate Developers Association of India (CREDAI) has announced a nationwide partnership with the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) to build over 1,000 certified green projects in the next two years and 4,000 projects by 2030 across India . Adoption of IGBC Green and Net Zero building rating.
This was announced on the occasion of the installation ceremony of CREDAI wherein Boman Irani became the new Chairman of CREDAI National for the period 2023-25.
The CREDAI scheme would mean adding more than 4,00,000 housing units to the green development category across the country. These projects will be certified by IGBC.
As an extension of meeting CREDAI’s target of reducing carbon footprint by 2030 and achieving carbon neutrality by 2050, this will provide an impetus towards preparing a roadmap for the same and help CREDAI reach Net Zero by 2070. Will align with the country’s vision of
