US District Judge Jennifer Dorsey dismissed a rape charge by a Nevada woman against Cristiano Ronaldo.
The woman had filed a case against star player Ronaldo in 2018 claiming that he raped her in Las Vegas in 2009 and paid USD 375,000.
The lawsuit says the woman, then 25, met Ronaldo at a nightclub and accompanied the player and others to his hotel room, where he alleged that he assaulted her.
The case also includes an allegation of breaching a 2010 confidentiality clause in their financial settlement over the alleged assault.
The Portuguese footballer had denied all allegations.
