CUET 2022 : Registration Link Not Open Yet; Here’s when candidates can apply

The application process of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) which was supposed to start from April 2 has not been opened yet, leaving the students waiting anxiously. However, according to media reports, the application forms will now be released on April 6, 2022.

From this year, students studying undergraduate programs in central universities will have to compulsorily appear in CUET. National Testing Agency (NTA) will start the application process for Central Universities on its official website- nta.ac.in. Interested students can also apply online at the official website–cuet.samarth.ac.in. Last date to register for CUET It’s 30th April. CUET, 2022 entrance exam will be conducted in the first week of July. The computer based entrance test of three and a half hours will be conducted in two shifts.

This time the marks of the board will not play any role in determining his/her admission in a college or programme. It will be based on his CUET score only. However, universities are open to use the board’s marks as the minimum eligibility criteria for admission.

The exam will have four parts – Section IA (13 languages), Section IB (19 languages), Section II (27 domain specific subjects), and Section III (General Tests).

The language options in Section IA are English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Oriya, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.

Section IB is optional, and is for students who wish to choose a language other than that which is part of Section IA.

As per the guidelines some of the languages ​​on offer are French, Arabic, German etc.

Section II provides 27 subjects out of which a candidate can select a maximum of six subjects. There will be MCQ based questions on NCERT Class XII syllabus.

Section III constitutes the Common Examination. 60 questions out of 75 have to be attempted including MCQs, General Knowledge, Current Affairs, General Mental Ability, Numerical Ability etc.
