DU UG Admission 2022: Process will start soon, keep these documents ready

It is expected that Delhi University will start the application process for undergraduate courses soon for the new academic session. this year, DU UG Admission On the basis of Common University Entrance Test (CUET). The examinations are over now and the result will be declared soon.

Till last academic year, DU used to admit students on the basis of cut-off marks obtained in class 12 exam, however, from this year, it will take admission based CUET score.

In a recent notification, Delhi University has listed the documents and certificates required for admission in undergraduate courses. The university has asked the students to keep the documents with them till August 31.

DU UG Admission 2022: List of Documents

1) Class 10th certificate

2) Class 12th certificate

3) SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS/Minority/CW/KM/PWBD certificate, if any

4) OBC-Non-Creamy Layer Certificate, Income Certificate, if applicable

5) EWS certificate, if applicable

6) Sikh/Christian minority certificate, if applicable

7) Children / Widows of Armed Forces Category Personnel–Educational Concession Certificate (ECC) Certificate

8) Persons with Benchmark Disability Certificate

9) Relevant certificate of other quota like Extra Curricular Activities (ECA), Sports, any other

“The University of Delhi will soon commence its application process for admission to Under-Graduate programmes. Candidates wishing to apply to the University of Delhi must ensure that the following certificates/documents (as applicable) are in the ready format by 31st August, 2022 are in,” the notification read.

“The name of the candidate claiming reservation should match the name of the candidate as appearing in the merit certificate of their respective school board and CUET (UG)-2022, Similarly, the names of the parents should also match in the certificate,” the university said.

The university in its notification also clarified that no undertaking on behalf of incomplete, invalid and non-availability of documents and certificates at the time of application will be accepted.

The admission process is likely to be delayed by “at least a week” due to the extension of the CUET-UG schedule following the cancellation of exams at several centers last week, DU officials have said.

CUET-UG, which was supposed to end on 20th August, now concluded on 28th August.
