Essentia’s total income rises to Rs 62 crore in December quarter

Life essentials maker Integra Essentia reported a slight jump in its net income in the third quarter as compared to the second quarter. As per the exchange filing, the company reported a total income of over Rs 62 crore in the December quarter. In the previous quarter, the New Delhi-based company had reported a total income of Rs 59.4 crore.

The New Delhi-based company reported a net profit of Rs 2.23 crore during the quarter under review as against Rs 2.15 crore in the previous quarter.

In the first nine months of FY23, ending December 31, 2023, the company reported a total income of Rs 177 crore. The same came down to Rs 18 crore in the same period of FY22.

Meanwhile, the company’s board has also approved the promoters’ request for reclassification from ‘promoter/promoter group’ to ‘public category’. However, as per the filing, it is subject to statutory approval.

In another related development, the board gave its nod to the major to participate in the processes to acquire the identified FMCG businesses.

Shares of Integra Essentia have given strong returns of 400 per cent in the last one year, resulting in wealth creation for the shareholders.
