For 2024, Nitish Kumar gets a dare from BJP leader, his former deputy

Sushil Modi further alleged that Nitish Kumar is not able to control the situation in Bihar.

New Delhi:

Former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and Rajya Sabha MP Sushil Kumar Modi on Sunday challenged Bihar CM Nitish Kumar to contest the Lok Sabha elections from anywhere in Uttar Pradesh and claimed that he would not be able to save his electoral security.

Sushil Modi’s remarks came a day after Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav offered Kumar to contest the Lok Sabha 2024 election from Phulpur in UP.

“Akhilesh Yadav wants Nitish ji to come to Uttar Pradesh and lose his bail in the election. Everyone knows that Akhilesh Yadav has no candidate in his state. He forged an alliance with Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) in the last Lok Sabha election. What happened was; later the alliance broke down and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won with 62 seats,” Sushil Modi told ANI.

“Nitish Kumar should try to contest the Lok Sabha election from Phulpur and he fails to save the deposit there, then he will return to Bihar as a candidate who lost his deposit in the election. Leave Phulpur, from anywhere in Uttar Pradesh Fight the elections, I challenge Nitish Kumar saying he will not be able to save his deposit in the elections.

The former Deputy CM of Bihar once again slammed the JDU-RJD government over the law and order situation in Bihar and said, “The incidents in Chhapra (where two policemen were injured after they were attacked by criminals at Mufassil police station) area), in Katihar (where several police personnel were injured after attacking the Pranpur police station on Saturday following the death of a man allegedly detained by a group of villagers), and three in Muzaffarpur. The days were far more inhuman than before. During Lalu Raj.”

“Rs 1.5 crore was collected from a shopkeeper and when he refused to do so, five men went to his shop and threw out all his employees by locking the shop,” he said.

Sushil Modi further alleged that Nitish Kumar is no longer able to control the situation in Bihar.

“The situation is out of his control, crime cannot be stopped because of Nitish Kumar’s ambition to become prime minister as he is not vigilant in Bihar. What this incident shows, such incidents are happening daily in Bihar,” he said. The people of Bihar are now scared that Lalu Raj has returned to the state again.
