From ‘Ab Bari Pahadans Ki’ to ‘Article 370 Jeebe’, Amit Shah lauds ST reservation for Pahari community in J&K rally

Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday announced the proposal for ST reservation for the Pahari community at a public rally held in Rajouri town of Jammu and Kashmir. Appreciating the move, Shah said that tribal reservation would not have been possible without the abrogation of Articles 370 and 35A.

The Union Home Minister made this announcement to the enthusiastic members of the Pahari community, who had reached the venue from different parts of Rajouri and neighboring Poonch district.

• Would it have been possible to get tribal reservation if Articles 370 and 35A were not removed? By removing them now minorities, dalits, tribals and hill people will get their rights.

• “I request all of you here to free Jammu and Kashmir from the rule of these three families. Delimitation was necessary for the elections, earlier delimitation was done for their families only, but after the new delimitation, the hill seats were given has been exceeded.

• “In the last three years, an investment of Rs 56,000 crore has come in J&K. There was a demand for international flights from Modi here and now for 70 years Yes International flight has started from Srinagar.
