  1. e-Pramaan (My Identity): It is a framework for securely authenticating individuals to access services through desktop and mobile platforms. It provides multiple factors of authentication such as password (text, image, grid pattern based), OTP (SMS, email, smart app), digital signature (provided by Indian CA), and biometric (finger, iris, face) authentication. The solution also ensures security for which several fraud management techniques have been implemented in it.
  2. Mobile Seva: It is a platform for delivery of Government services to citizens on mobile devices using SMS, USSD, voice, LBS and/or mobile applications. It is used by about 4,000 departments.
  3. Aadhaar Data Vault: It stores Aadhaar numbers in an encrypted format and generates reference numbers to access them following UIDAI guidelines. Therefore, the Aadhaar number is securely locked in a vault with the decryption key in the Hardware Security Module (HSM). The reference number is different for each service. C-DAC provides Aadhaar Data Vault as a solution as well as a service.
  4. C-DAC’s Aadhaar Ecosystem: Aadhaar related authentication services are accessible only through Authentication Service Agency (ASA) and Authentication User Agencies (AUA), which are trusted partners of UIDAI for providing Aadhaar services. As an ASA as well as AUA, C-DAC provides access to various Aadhaar services like e-KYC.
  5. Online Labs: It is set up on the premise that lab experiments can be taught more quickly and cost-effectively through the Internet. Laboratories may also be made available for students who do not have access to physical laboratories or when equipment is scarce or expensive. The labs designed for classes 6 to 12 are aligned with NCERT/CBSE and can also be used by state board schools in English, Marathi, Hindi and Malayalam. An offline version and an Android app are also available for use.
  6. mServices AppStore: This is a Swadeshi Forum For hosting Indian apps with its policy and guidelines for developers. Apps go through rigorous security testing before providing security assurance to citizens while downloading apps from this app store.

Kamal said that with the launch of the Digital India programme, the Indian government hopes to develop e-governance and m-governance plans. He said that the broad objective of the program is to transform India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy.

“With the implementation of the mobile governance platform, citizens can avail integrated public services through multiple mobile-based channels in a seamless and time-bound manner. This will benefit citizens in tracking Government-to-Citizen (G2C) communication and getting timely updates transparently,” he said.
