Gold down by ₹105; Silver up ₹255

According to HDFC Securities, gold prices on Friday declined by Rs 105 to Rs 60,045 per 10 grams in the national capital amid a fall in the prices of the yellow metal globally.

In the previous trade, the precious metal had closed at Rs 60,150 per 10 grams.

Silver, however, climbed Rs 255 to Rs 73,500 per kg.

HDFC Securities Senior Analyst – Commodities, Saumil Gandhi said, “Gold prices are trading at Rs 60,045 per 10 grams in Delhi markets, up by Rs 105 per 10 grams.”

In the overseas market, gold was trading lower at $1,967 an ounce while silver was trading higher at $23.88 an ounce.

Gold price was trading in the red in Asian trading hours on Friday.
