Mayor Pramila Pandey, who visited Lucknow on Saturday, met the Urban Development Minister and discussed in detail the problems and development of Kanpur city.
He told the minister that efforts are being made to make Kanpur one of the top ten cities in terms of cleanliness, for which the municipal administration is taking all possible steps. When the mayor informed the minister about the lack of resources, the minister assured that there would be no shortage of funds for the development of the city.
He said that the government would renovate the wells and ponds to get back the old glory of the city. Minister assured the mayor KMC soon.
