On suspicion of negligence in the case, the DDO has ordered an inquiry.

Vadodara : Dahod District Development Officer (DDO) has ordered an inquiry after a pregnant woman contacted Bhatiwara Primary Health Center (PHC), gave birth to a baby near the facility.
It was revealed that even when she was in labor pain, she was allowed to go. The incident happened on Wednesday morning when a woman Sharda BhuriaPHC came when there was labor pain. The people at the center examined him, but allowed him to go home which was nearby.
However, Bhuria gave birth to the child near the health centre. The incident came to the notice of DDO Neha Kumari, who asked senior health officials to look into it. The officials visited the health center where the woman was admitted with the baby after delivery.
Raising suspicion of negligence in the matter, the DDO ordered a probe and asked the Chief District Health Officer (CDHO) to transfer the staff at the PHC who were responsible for the open deliveries. CDHO Dr DR Patel Said that according to the order, three people of the health center have been transferred.
An official said that in rural areas, many pregnant women often come to the hospital very late, leaving little time for those who deliver. The officer said something similar happened in this case as well and the woman was allowed to go home despite her condition. Sources said that the woman had stayed with the PHC and hence the decision to let her go must have been taken.
Further action will be taken based on the inquiry report. Sources said that the condition of the mother and child is said to be healthy and they were also kept at the PHC on Thursday.
