Vadodara Police Commissioner said here on Monday that the ‘She’ police team set up to check eve-teasing will now also keep a watch on women who hurt the sentiments of the majority community while playing Garba.
Police Commissioner Shamsher Singh told the media, “I will direct the team along with Romeo to keep a watch on such women and nab them and register a criminal case.”
A video clip of a woman smoking an e-cigarette while playing Garba at United Way Venue is going viral.
United Way organizer Hemant Shah has also assured the majority community that the security team will be asked to be more vigilant and catch people smoking cigarettes while playing garba on the ground and asking them to leave the ground.
