GURUGRAM: A receptionist at a hotel linked to a leading aggregator has been arrested for raping and impregnating a 20-year-old woman, police said on Thursday.
accused Yogesh is a native of Uttarakhand, He was working in a hotel in Indore Haryana‘s BhondsiWhere he raped the woman several times on the pretext of marriage.
As per the police complaint lodged by the victim, Uttar PradeshHe had met the accused about eight-nine months ago.
“We became friends and he offered to marry me. He used to take me to the hotel staff room and have physical relations. I am one month pregnant now and he has left me and refused to marry me. Finally, I went to the police,” alleged the victim in her complaint.
Police said Yogesh has been booked under section 376(2)n (repeated rape of the same woman) of the Indian Penal Code.
“During interrogation, the accused confessed to his crime. He will be produced in the city court soon.” Rajendra Kumar said.
