Hero Electric joins hands with Massive Mobility to set up 10,000 EV charging stations

Hero Electric on Friday said it has joined hands with EV startup Massive Mobility to set up 10,000 charging stations across the country in the next one year.

Through this collaboration, Hero Electric is striving to improve the charging infrastructure across the country to help promote and encourage the adoption of electric mobility.

The company aims to set up 10,000 and an additional 10,000 stations with mass mobility by the end of next year.

Hero Electric CEO Sohinder Gill said, “The announcements from the Government of India over the past few months have helped take the EV industry to the next level. We continue to expand our reach, install charging points and create an ecosystem. Let’s rework the mechanics to make the system.” a statement.

He said the company has been investing in plotting low-cost charging stations over the years to fuel the development of charging infrastructure.

“So far, we have installed around 1,650 charging stations and aim to install 20K by the end of 2022,” he said.

The association with Massive Mobility will broaden the company’s efforts to reach its objective as the partnership will benefit the overall industry, Mr. Gill said.

Massive Mobility is a startup working to design a smart connected network of charging solutions for three-wheeler and two-wheeler electric vehicles.

Through its cloud-based solutions, it enables parking and charging point owners to provide charging services to users.

It is dedicated to creating a fully integrated charging experience where hardware and software are combined with original equipment manufacturers to provide EV owners with a seamless and resistance-free experience.
