Sharing the update, how challenging it was for her to work on this unique and unique project, she captioned the post, “It is not easy for anyone to use cinema, but to make it internationally appropriate is also a tough one. It’s work, especially for independent filmmakers. We too faced such challenges but we decided to stick with the essence of the story. It was both extraordinary and interesting to play a blind girl as an actor, as much as I am I can write now. The first form of our creative leap of faith was unveiled at the most prestigious Cannes Film Festival 2022 – the ‘Country of the Blind’ at the Indian Pavilion.

About the country of the blind

The film is set in the 1800s timeline, and its story revolves around a valley full of blind people who are living a happy life despite being blind. Hina will also play the role of a blind woman in the film.

Hina Khan debuted at the prestigious red carpet of Cannes Film Festival in 2019 for the poster launch of her Hussain Khan starrer ‘Lines’.
