Launching the campaign for the 2024 assembly elections in Sonipat, Haryana, Union Home Minister Amit Shah urged the people of the state to vote for the BJP. Shah’s public meeting was to be held in Sonipat on Sunday. However, it was canceled as bad weather did not allow his helicopter to take off and land.

Shah, however, addressed the gathering over phone. He said, “We all together will work to make Narendra Modi the Prime Minister again. I am sure that BJP’s lotus will bloom on every Lok Sabha seat.”

Shah hit out at the previous Congress government in the state and said the region has seen so much progress in the last eight years and it could not have happened during the 70 years of Congress rule.

“You have seen so much development in Haryana in the last eight years. Corruption has reduced in every field, law and order has improved and casteism has ended. There has been so much development in Haryana in eight years which could not have happened in 70. ” years. Now the education sarpanch is taking Haryana forward,” said Shah.
