Jaipur: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi On Sunday, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led central government was targeted over inflation and rising fuel prices.
He was addressing the party’s mega rally against inflation in Jaipur.
In a veiled attack on the BJP government, the Congress leader said, “India is a country of Hindus, not Hindutvawadis, who want to remain in power under any circumstances.”
Rahul said that Hindutvawadis are responsible for inflation and suffering in the country.
Gandhi said, “This is a country of Hindus, not of Hindutvawadis. If there is inflation and suffering in the country, it is done by Hindutvawadis. Hindutvawadis want power in any condition.”
He targeted the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying that his friends have “ruined” the country.
Gandhi alleged, “Modi ji and three or four of his industrialist friends ruined the country in seven years.”
“I am a Hindu and not Hindutva,” They said.
