A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode, (IIM-K) and the Naval Institute of Educational and Training Technology (NIETT) on Wednesday to build cooperation and exchange of best practices in the field To be. IIM-K’s Kochi campus will collaborate with a leading naval training institution to draw on the best in industry and higher education to improve naval training practices, achieve excellence and enhance the contemporary learning skills of defense participants . , It also brings with it an opportunity for NIETT faculty and selected naval officers to participate and train in appropriate management programs at IIM-K. Chatterjee said that the MoU was bound to achieve exchange of academic expertise covering research, teaching and training as well as management of education, which would immensely benefit the defense participants from NIETT. He said, “Our defense forces through their determination and technological prowess have led innovation and indigenization to not only compete with the best of the world, but also to safeguard the interests of our businesses beyond our shores. “
Speaking on the occasion, Commodore Burson said that the MoU will help NIETT to expand its repertoire and provide world-class training to the Armed Forces of India and trainers from friendly foreign countries.
