Ashok Gehlot said that Congress leaders and workers should work towards strengthening the party.

New Delhi:

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said on Friday that Congress workers and leaders should not do anything that causes damage to the party, remarks seen as a veiled attack on his former deputy Sachin Pilot, who is involved in “corruption” cases. Have been questioning the alleged inaction of the state government.

Mr. Gehlot, who reached Delhi on Friday afternoon, said that he should work towards ensuring that the Congress government is again formed in the state.

The veteran Congress leader said he was here for personal obligations and would meet some friends before returning to the state on Saturday.

“It is easy to light a fire, but very difficult to put out… I talk about ‘inflation relief’. In the state and how they can contribute to it. They should not do anything that will harm the party,” he said.

“I feel that if some loss is caused to someone due to some comment, then one should not worry about his personal loss as the party high command will compensate you. But, one should not say or do anything which may harm the party and harm to the organization.” Will be able to recover the loss caused by it,” he said in reference to remarks made by Mr Pilot, who recently sat on a fast demanding action on alleged corruption during the BJP’s previous government of Vasundhara Raje.

Sachin Pilot sat on a dharna in Jaipur last week demanding action against those involved in corruption during the previous Raje government.

The Congress termed it as “anti-party activity”. But Mr. Pilot went ahead with his fast strike. The Congress has not yet taken action against the pilot in protest against its own party’s government.

Shri Gehlot said that his government has brought many new schemes and more are coming. He said that the people of the state feel that our government will be formed again.

“We have spoken to 100 MLAs and all have said that what was asked (from the state government) has been received and work is going on everywhere in the state,” he said.

Asked about the surveys being conducted by the party ahead of the assembly polls later this year, he said more such exercises would be conducted to assess the performance of legislators.

On vacating his official bungalow after former Congress president Rahul Gandhi was disqualified as an MP, Gehlot said, “Whenever there is a conspiracy, the conspirator completes the whole conspiracy. The moment the case was registered, he Decided what to do. There was a case. There was no trial for the first four years, but suddenly everything was expedited under a conspiracy. It was a conspiracy. He said that neither Prime Minister Narendra Modi nor Home Minister Amit Shah knew about the Gandhi family who sacrificed their lives for the country.

The Chief Minister said, “The entire Congress family and workers want him to continue to provide leadership to the party.”

Expressing concern over the issue of unemployment and inflation in the country, CM Gehlot said, “We want to solve it, as it is affecting the people. We are also providing jobs in government and non-government sectors in Rajasthan.” ” “We have started many schemes for the welfare of the people and now we are starting ‘Mehangai Rahat Shivir’ which will provide some help,” he said. He said that these camps would work in villages across the state.

He said that on April 1, the scheme of giving gas cylinders for Rs 500 was started and people are getting cheap cylinders. We will give benefits to all, be it Congress or BJP.
