South Central Railway has invited applications for the recruitment of 4,103 Apprentices. Interested candidates can apply at www.scr.indianrailways.gov.in. The online application form will be available till 11:59 PM on November 3.
Candidates who have passed class 10th, have ITI certificate in relevant trade from National Council of Vocational Training or State Council of Vocational Training can apply for apprenticeship. Candidates will be selected on the basis of marks obtained by them in both 10th and ITI exams. While there will be no written test or viva, selected applicants will have to pass a medical examination.

Indian Railway Recruitment: Qualification
educational qualification: Candidates must have passed 10th or its equivalent (under 10+2 examination system) with at least 50% marks in aggregate. ITI certificate in relevant trade from any institute recognized under National Council of Vocational Training or State Council of Vocational Training.
Age Range: Applicants should have attained the age of 15 years and should not be more than 24 years as on October 4, 2021. However, there will be a relaxation of up to 5 years for SC, ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates. .

Candidates can apply online through official website www.scr.indianrailways.gov.in. Here is a step by step process
Step 1: Candidates first have to download the SCR. You have to register yourself on the official portal of
Step 2: Once the registration is done, they can fill the SCR Apprentice Application Form
Step 3: Next, they have to upload the required documents in the specified size and format
Step 4: The last and final step involves the payment of the application fee of Rs 100 and downloading the confirmation page for further reference.
Selected candidates will be trained by Central Apprenticeship Council. A fee of Rs 100 will be applicable with each application. Candidates belonging to SC, ST category and women are exempted from paying the fee.
