IRB Infrastructure Toll Collection: Shares of IRB Infrastructure Developers traded 1 per cent higher at Rs 30 per scrip today (March 10) at 10:30 am on the back of strong toll collection data for the month of February. The Mumbai-based highway infrastructure developer reported a 27 per cent increase in toll collection to Rs 351.75 crore in February this year, according to an exchange filing.

The company had recorded a toll collection of Rs 277.47 crore in February 2022. “Toll collection on all corridors shows stability and strength in growth as compared to last year. This shows India’s economic stability in the post-pandemic era.

IRB Infra has recently split its equity shares in the ratio of 10:1, which means that one share was divided into 10 shares of face value of Re 1 each. The company’s order book currently stands at Rs 20,892 crore, which includes a construction order book of Rs 9,714 crore.

IRB Infra has an asset base of over Rs 62,000 crore across 10 states of the parent company and two InvITs. It has about 20 per cent stake in the Golden Quadrilateral project, the largest by any private infrastructure developer in the country. IRB Infra’s net profit rose 94 per cent to Rs 141.35 crore in the October-December quarter from Rs 72.68 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.
