1. Maruti suzuki grand vitara

At the rear, the SUV gets attractive looking LED taillights that run across the width of the tailgate.
Powering the new Grand Vitara SUV is Maruti Suzuki’s 1.5-litre four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine with mild-hybrid technology; As well as a 1.5-litre three-cylinder petrol engine with strong-hybrid technology, borrowed from the Toyota Hyryder. The 1.5-litre petrol engine with mild-hybrid technology can be had either with a 5-speed manual transmission or an optional 6-speed AT with paddle shifters. On the other hand, the strong-hybrid (intelligent electric hybrid) variant can only be had with an e-CVT that powers the front wheels. The price of the Grand Vitara is yet to be announced, but we expect it to start from around Rs 9.5 lakh (ex-showroom).
2. Hyundai Venue N-Line
Hyundai India recently announced that it will launch the new Venue on September 6. The company has already started booking for the new Hyundai Venue N-Line with an initial amount of Rs 21,000. Customers can book the SUV on the official website or at their nearest Hyundai dealership.

The new Hyundai Venue N-Line will get a redesigned front fascia with tweaked headlights and taillights and tweaked bumpers. The SUV will also get red colored inserts on the doors, roof rails, bumpers and a dark chrome grille.
The SUV also gets newly designed 16-inch alloy wheels with red brake calipers. The rear profile is flanked by dual exhaust tips and a new spoiler. The SUV will be available in three color options – Thunder Blue with Black Roof, Shadow Gray and Polar White exterior paint.
Talking about the engine, the SUV will be powered by a 1.0-litre GDi turbocharged petrol engine that produces 118 bhp power and 172 Nm torque. The engine comes mated to a 7-speed automatic dual-clutch transmission.
3. 2022 Hyundai Kona
Launched in July 2019, the Hyundai Kona Electric was the first electric vehicle in India from Hyundai. Globally, the Hyundai Kona Electric was updated in 2020 and the model is expected to hit our shores in 2022.

The Hyundai Kona is expected to be powered by 39.2kWh battery and 136hp motor for 304km range or 64kWh battery and 204hp motor for 483km range. The electric SUV is expected to be priced around Rs 24-26 lakh.
4. Toyota Urban Crucier Header
The Toyota Hyder SUV was unveiled in India on July 1. The company announced that it will launch the SUV on August 16, 2022. The brand has opened the bookings for the Haider SUV at Rs 25,000 across all Toyota dealerships in India.

The Hyryder is based on Suzuki’s Global C platform that underpins the new Grand Vitara. The Hyder SUV will be manufactured at the Bidadi plant in Karnataka along with the Grand Vitara.
In terms of exterior, the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hider will boast of a muscular bonnet, Glanza-like front grille and split LED DRLs with thin chrome stripe and a large air dam. The SUV gets 17-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels, hybrid badge on the front doors, body cladding with skid plates and wraparound LED tail lamps.
The interior is equipped with Toyota i-Connect 55+ features, smartwatch connectivity, 9-inch SmartPlay Cast infotainment system, voice control, remote A/C on and off, remote vehicle recognition, vehicle health and more. Apart from this, the Hyryder SUV cabin also gets dual-tone finish on the dashboard, wireless charging, a HUD and a panoramic sunroof.
The Toyota Urban Cruiser Hider will be available in two powertrain options – Neo Drive and a self-charging robust hybrid electric powertrain that will use a 1.5-litre petrol engine that makes 105 hp and 122 Nm along with 59 kW and 141 Nm of motor. , The combined power output would be 85 kW (114 hp). The Neo Drive engine gets an all-wheel-drive system, optional 5-speed manual transmission and a 6-speed automatic transmission to choose from.
We expect Toyota to start the Hyder price at Rs 10.5 lakh (ex-showroom). When launched, the SUV competes with the Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushak, MG Astor and Mahindra Scorpio-N.
5. Mahindra XUV 300 Facelift
Mahindra & Mahindra recently released the teaser of the upcoming 2022 XUV300.
The teaser reveals the front fascia of the 2022 XUV300, confirming that the SUV will now be equipped with Mahindra’s new twin-peak logo like the XUV700, Scorpio-N and Scorpio Classic. Apart from this, the new XUV300 will also feature newly designed 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.
The updated XUV300 facelift can be powered by a new 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine that produces 130 PS of maximum power and 230 Nm of peak torque.
Also on offer will be the same 1.5-litre diesel engine as before, which produces 115 PS of power and 300 Nm of torque.
Transmission options are expected to include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed AMT with both the engines.
When launched, the XUV 300 will continue to take on the likes of Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Nissan Magnite, Toyota Urban Cruiser as well as the Renault Kiger.
